2307 thélēma (from 2309 /thélō, "to desire, wish") – properly, a desire (wish), often referring to God's "preferred-will," i.e. His "best-offer" to people which can be accepted or rejected. [Note the -ma suffix, focusing on the result hoped for with the particular desire (wish). 2307 (thélēma) is nearly always used of God, referring to His preferred-will.θέλημα thelēma Strong's 2307 means plural commands, precepts Source: http://biblehub.com/greek/2307.htm
What are God's commands & precepts?
The Heavens Declare the Glory of God
THE LAW of the LORD IS PERFECT, RESTORING THE SOUL; The TESTIMONY of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The PRECEPTS of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The COMMANDS of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever; The JUDGMENTS of the LORD ARE TRUE; they are righteous altogether. They are more desirable than gold, even the finest gold. They are sweeter than honey, even honey dripping from the comb. Moreover, by them Your servant is warned; In keeping them there is great reward. Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults. Also keep back Your servant from presumptuous sins; Let them not rule over me; Then I will be blameless, AND I SHALL BE ACQUITTED OF GREAT TRANSGRESSION. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O LORD, MY ROCK AND MY REDEEMER."
To further understand the above, read Matthew 7:17-28 & Luke 13:23-28.
The "WILL" of God means the commands/precepts of the Father, we can see that His Law is to be applied on earth as in heaven from the very prayer the Messiah gave to His Apostles and for us to follow (Matthew 6:9-13 & Luke 11:2-4) which ties in perfectly with Isaiah 66:15-24 & Jeremiah 31:31-34.
Matthew 6:9-13 & Luke 11:2-4
As we saw above, θέλημα thelēma Strong's 2307 means plural commands, precepts
The Father's Will is that we keep His Law, Command(ments), Precepts and Testimony - they are to be kept both on earth and in heaven (Jeremiah 31:31-34). This is the only prayer we are told to recite by the Son of God and its "instructions" are very clear. This prayer is one we are to recite, keep, and live by for our entire lives till Judgment. God's Chosen of Israel who are called will understand the true meaning of the Lord's Prayer - those who don't or reject it will be cast to the fire (Matthew 7:17-28).
