Law & Testimony Scriptures in the New Testament
(Alpha-Numeric Order)

Acts 24:14
“And yet I confess this, I'm a follower of The Way [ of the Messiah ] (TESTIMONY), which they call a sectThis means that I serve our ancestors' God and believe everything written in Moses' Teachings and the Prophets". (KEEP THE LAW/TORAH)

Editor's Note: Under threat of death before the Governor Felix for preaching against the Law (of Moses) to thousands in Judaea, Paul claimed the above which the Nazarenes followed to save his life (i.e., faith that the Messiah is the Son of the living God AND keeping the Mosaic Law). However, he would thereafter continue to teach a false gospel claiming the Law was a curse and spurned the Father's and Messiah's commandments which resulted in his being rejected by the churches of Asia and so began his journey to the West where he would preach his heretical "gospel" to Gentiles which resulted in Pauline Christianity that DOES NOT keep the Law of Moses.

Take note below how James, the brother of the Messiah, reiterates THE SAME PRECISE MESSAGE expressed by the Son of God in Matthew 7:21-23  (# 3 Nazarene Code scripture cited above):

James 2:12
Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law (THE LAW/TORAHthat gives freedom,

James 2:14

1"What use is it, my brethren, if someone says he has faith (TESTIMONY) but he has no works (DOES NOT KEEP THE LAW/TORAH)? Can that faith save him?"

James 2:17
"So also faith (TESTIMONY) by itself, if it does not have works (DOES NOT KEEP THE LAW/TORAH), IS DEAD."

James 2:18
But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith (TESTIMONY) without deeds (KEPT THE LAW/TORAH), and I will show you my faith (TESTIMONY) by my deeds (BY KEEPING THE LAW/TORAH)".

James 2:20-22
"But are you willing to recognize, you foolish fellow, that faith (TESTIMONY) without works (DOES NOT KEEP THE LAW/TORAH) is useless? 21Was not Abraham our father justified by works (BY KEEPING THE LAW/TORAH) when he offered up Isaac his son on the altar? 22You see that faith (TESTIMONY) was working with his works (WITH KEEPING THE LAW/TORAH), and as a result of the works (OF KEEPING THE LAW/TORAH), faith was perfected;"

James 2:24
"You see that by works (BY KEEPING THE LAW/TORAH) a man is justified and not from faith (TESTIMONY) alone."

(Editor's Note: The above mirrors precisely what the Messiah states in Matthew 7:21-23)

James 2:26
"Just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith (TESTIMONY) without works (WITHOUT THE LAW/TORAH) is dead."

Editor's Note:  If you believe that the term "works" simply is for "good deeds" you are mistaken.  The term "works" is specifically referring to the Law/Torah.  We know this by the heretic and fraud Paul's who preached against the Word of God by the use of the very term "works" when referring to the "Law" - see below:

"...nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the WORKS of the Law  but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the WORKS of the Law; since by the WORKS of the Law no flesh will be justified."  Galatians 2:16

John 4:23

"But an hour is coming, and now is, WHEN THE TRUE WORSHIPERS WILL WORSHIP THE FATHER IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH (KEEP THE LAW/TORAH)for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. 24"God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." 25The woman said to Him, "I know that Messiah is coming (He who is called Christ); when that One comes, He will declare all things to us. 26Jesus said to her, "I who speak to you am He." (TESTIMONY)

John 14:12-15
“Timeless truth, I tell you: 'whoever believes in me, (TESTIMONY) those works (THE LAW/TORAH) which I have done HE WILL ALSO DO, and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to the presence of my Father. And anything that you will ask in my name I shall do for you, that The Father may be glorified in (TESTIMONY) His Son.” “And if you will ask me in my name (TESTIMONY), I shall do this. If you love me, keep my commandments.”(KEEP THE LAW/TORAH)

John 14:21

He who has my commandments and KEEPS them,(KEEPS THE LAW/TORAH) it is he who loves Me (TESTIMONY). And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him (TESTIMONY).

John 14:23
“If anyone loves Me
(TESTIMONY), he will KEEP My word; (KEEP THE LAW/TORAH) and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make him Our home with him.

John 14:15-16

"If you love Me, you will KEEP My commandments
(KEEP HIS LAW/TORAH). 16"I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever;

John 15:9-10

"Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love. 10"If you KEEP My commandments, (KEEP HIS LAW/TORAH) you will abide in My love; just as I have KEPT My Father's commandments (KEEP THE LAW/TORAH) and abide in His love.11"These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.

John 17:3-6
But these things are eternal life: 'They shall know you, for you alone are The God of Truth, and The Messiah whom you have sent (TESTIMONY) I have glorified you in the earth; I have accomplished the work that you have given me to do (Preached the Kingdom of Heaven and search for the Lost Tribes of Israel). Now, glorify me, my Father, in union with yourself, in that glory which I had in union with you before the universe was  (The Messiah was the WORD - 1 of the 3 ELohim - i.e., "God")I have revealed your Name to the children of men, those whom you have given me from the world; yours they were, and you have given them to me, AND THEY HAVE KEPT YOUR WORD.' (KEPT THE LAW/TORAH).

1 John 2:1-7
My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous (TESTIMONY)2and He Himself is the propitiation (appeaser, conciliator) for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world. 3By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments.(KEPT HIS LAW/TORAH). 4The one who says, "I have come to know Him," and does not keep His commandments (KEPT HIS LAW/TORAH)., IS A LIAR, AND THE TRUTH IS NOT IN HIM; 5 BUT WHOEVER KEEPS HIS WORD, IN HIM THE LOVE OF GOD HAS TRULY BEEN PERFECTED, BY THIS WE KNOW WE ARE IN HIM; 6the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked. 7Beloved, I am not writing a new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning; the old commandment is the word which you have heard.(THE LAW/TORAH) 1 John 2:1-7

What do we gather from the above? Just as the children of Israel kept the commandments (Torah) of the Father to have death (the Destroyer of Exodus) pass over their homes, so to must the SPIRITUAL children of Israel of today must keep the commandments (Torah) to have death pass over them.

The Messiah is the fulfillment of the Passover Lamb the Hebrews celebrated... yet at no time was Passover Feast ever recognized as "the taking away of sins" atonement festival - this came during Yom Kippur - the Feast of Atonement. A goat was used as the representative of "taking away the sins of the world"- not a Lamb. You will find a further explanation of it in "Prophetic Feast Days" chapter (click here). The point is that our sins - death - is "passed over us" by keeping the commandments - the "old commandments" from the beginning as stated in 1 John 2:1-8:

a person who speaks or writes in support or defense of a person, cause, etc. (usually followed by of):
an advocate of peace.
a person who pleads for or in behalf of another; intercessor.
a person who pleads the cause of another in a court of law.

verb (used with object)propitiated, propitiating.
to make favorably inclined; appease; conciliate.

verb (used with object)appeased, appeasing.
to bring to a state of peace, quiet, ease, calm, or contentment; pacify;soothe:
to appease an angry king.
to satisfy, allay, or relieve; assuage:

1. calm, placate. 3. Appease, conciliate, propitiate imply trying to preserve or obtain peace. To appease is to make anxious
overtures and often undue concessions to satisfy the demands of someone with a greed for power, territory, etc.:
tried to appease Hitler at Munich.
To conciliate is to win an enemy or opponent over by displaying a willingness to be just and fair:
When mutual grievances are recognized, conciliation is possible. To
propitiate is to admit a fault, and, by trying to make
amends, to allay hostile feeling:
to propitiate an offended

What do we gather from the above? Just as the children of Israel kept the commandments (Torah) of the Father to have death (the Destroyer of Exodus) pass over their homes, so to must the SPIRITUAL children of Israel of today must keep the commandments (Torah) to have death pass over them.  So what the above scripture is clearly telling us is that thru the Messiah's sacrifice we calm and placate the wrath of God Elohim but ONLY if we keep the Son of God's commandments as proof that we have truly known Him.

1 John 3:3-4
And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. (TESTIMONY)   4Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness. (WITHOUT THE LAW/TORAH)

Clearly, the above scripture is defining sin for us: sin is a violation of the Law and by extension, not keeping the Law is sinning. This is how sin is defined and is only defined.

1 John 5:1-2
Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, (TESTIMONY) and whoever loves the Father loves the child born of Him. 2By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and observe His commandments. 3For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; (KEPT THE LAW/TORAH) and His commandments are not burdensome.*

Matthew 5:14-20
"You are the light of the world (the example to the rest of the world). A city set on a hill cannot be hidden;15nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.16"Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works (fulfilment of the Law), and glorify your Father who is in heaven.17"Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets (did not come to put an end to the Mosaic Law); I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. 18"For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away (New Heaven and New Earth (Rev. 21:1-2), not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished (See Rev. 21:6)19"Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20"For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 7:21-23

"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father (KEEPS THE LAW/TORAH) who is in heaven WILL ENTER. 22"Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not (2) prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' (TESTIMONY) 23"And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS". (DO NOT KEEP THE LAW/TORAH)

Note the profound meaning behind this scripture:

Point 1:  The Messiah Himself is clearly telling us WE ARE NOT SAVED BY FAITH IN HIM ALONE.

Point 2:  The Messiah is clearly telling us that those who do NOT practice the Father's Will - i.e., practice "Lawlessness" WILL BE REJECTED FROM ENTERING THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN.

Point 3:  The Messiah makes the above statement not once but TWICE to reaffirm the point leaving no doubt whatsoever of His position on keeping the Law to enter the gates of Heaven.

The 3 points are as straightforward, irrefutable and undeniable as can be. This scripture comes from no on but the Messiah Himself.  The reader can clearly see that there is no twisting of wording, no clever taking out of context manipulation or vague interpretation involved.  Common sense and logic tells us that the Messiah would not make such a bold and definitive statement then change His mind thru the teachings of Paul, then have another change of heart and go back to the above declaration in His Revelation to John of keeping the Law -  It is clearly illogical and impossible for the Messiah to have doubts and change of heart and mind on the matter of Eternal Life and ridiculous for anyone to believe this. Point 4 to this is that clearly Paul's Lawless evangelism was heretical and against the Word of God - the Word being Christ - thus making ANY and ALL Christian religions Anti-Christ.

This scripture alone proves beyond any doubt the entire claim of The Nazarene Code and ALL religions, faiths, beliefs that preach against the Keeping of the Law and those that follow them will be rejected from the gates of Heaven. If your religion is "Lawless" leave it immediately and get right with God ASAP.

Matthew 13:52

He said to them, "Therefore EVERY TEACHER of the LAW (TESTIMONY OF THE LAW/TORAH) WHO HAS BECOME A DISCIPLE OF THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom  new treasures (TESTIMONY OF THE MESSIAH) as well as old.(treasures) (THE LAW/TORAH) OF THE FATHER)"

Editor's Note: The Messiah is telling us with the above scripture THREE very important things: 1st:The Law is the old treasure and a conditional requirement to become a disciple of heaven, 2nd: the new treasures are the testimony that He is the Son of the living God and 3rd: Those who teach and preach (i.e., given Testimony) of the Law (Torah) becomes a disciple of the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 19:16-17

And someone came to Him and said, "Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may obtain eternal life?" And He said to him, "Why are you asking Me about what is good? There is only One who is good, but if you wish to enter into life, KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS." (The Law / Torah)  MATTHEW 19:16-17

Can it be any more clear or obvious than that?

Matthew 22:32-40

31"But regarding the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God:32'I AM THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, AND THE GOD OF ISAAC, AND THE GOD OF JACOB '? He is not the God of the dead but of the living. (TESTIMONY) " 33When the crowds heard this, they were astonished at His teaching. 34But when the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered themselves together. 35One of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, 36"Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?" 37And He said to him, "'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.' 38"This is the great and foremost commandment. 39"The second is like it, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.' 40"On these two commandments depend the whole Law (THE LAW/TORAH) OF THE FATHER) and the Prophets."

Editor's note: Contrary to what Christians claim, the Messiah did not do away with the Law or created 2 new commandments of "love"in their New Age twist of this scripture - He simply summarized the Decalogue and He is making very clear in verse 40 which Christians ignore.

Matthew 23:28

"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness. 28"So you, too, outwardly appear righteous to men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

Editor's Note: Most will miss the point above - one is a modern-day "Pharisee" regardless of your faith if you claim to be righteous yet are a hypocrite who does not keep God's Law.

1 Peter 1:1-2
Petraus, an Apostle of Yeshua The Messiah, to The Chosen Ones and Pilgrims who are scattered in Pontus and in Galatia, in Qapadoqia, in Asia and in Bithynia; God the Father knew you and chose you long ago, and his Spirit has made you holy. As a result, you have obeyed Him (KEPT THE LAW/TORAH) and have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ. (TESTIMONY) May God give you more and more grace and peace.

The Father and Messiah's Commandments (Law/Torah) are PRECISELY THE SAME in the Old and New Testament. They are the Word of God – the Messiah is the Word made flesh (John 1:14) and it is crystal clear we show our love to both of Them by KEEPING Their Commandments which is the Law (i.e., Torah).  We are to keep them Forever. The Bible clearly points out that the True Apostles continued to abide by the Messiah's commandments after His departure.  Further below we will see how in the Book of Revelation there is once again synchronicity of the scriptures there as there are in the Old and New Testament.
